Better, Faster, Cheaper – Pick 2

BFCHaving returned from The Market Research Event (TMRE), held in Las Vegas last week – it’s clear that we’ve passed an interesting threshold in Marketing Research. I have said in many of my conference speeches this year, that technology has leap-frogged best practices – and it’s time to catch up. So how will we do that?

For starters, I have suggested we practice “responsible innovation”. There are some advances, leveraging 2.0 rich media technologies, that have aimed to ‘engage’ respondents. We need to make sure that the ‘pretty’ interface is also better. Stay tuned for posts about some of these principles, that have inspired audiences throughout 2009 – and have stimulated an important industry dialogue that is gaining an exciting momentum.
